Saab 9-3X All Wheel Drive  2009,  2010.

Well times are tough but Saab thinks they might have a mild winner with the release of the all wheel drive Saab 9-3x.

When you think Saab I think of snow and Sweden, but now the 9-3 x hits the market ready for Australia and beyond.

Saab Sales  Down

Sales have been lets say disastrous in Australia and the Saab name is a popular as pimple on a brides nose but this might just pick up a few more , sales that is.

Its stylish good looking  and so European. Size well its up against the Rav 4, CRV  etc. but soon in 2010 the Saab brand will release a larger version the 9-4X.

For the Australian market 2010 will see the all wheel drive and two wheel drive variants.

For Saab connoisseurs  the E85 capable  bioPower engine technology is mated to the XWD System.

For the uneducated its state of the art  Ethanol engine is linked to Saabs lates all wheel drive system. The choice is a 2 litre bioPower or plain Petrol engine developing 155 kw/300Nm.

Diesel Turbo 1.9

Front wheel drive stats are similar but less but the engine will be the 1.9 TTiD two stage turbo Diesel. Europe look out towards the end of 2009 , Australia fingers crossed 2010.
