Well I was wrong, Yes wrong those early Hyundai sprints are still going well today with a engine you could not kill with a stick. The harsh Australian climate has been cruel to the poor excuse of paint on the earlier vehicles but they have stood the test.
Moving into the present Hyundai has in Australia developed trust with the consumer, This trust is much sought after by many that have followed and even now the likes of KIA are just a poor second.
Hyundai like it or not is in the new vehicle market, not just cheap runabouts.

The new IX35 (Tucson ) in Australia is a big move on the previous model of several years. The 2.4 litre engine is good as a engine this size with this weight would be, the suspension and handling are good as you would consider for this price range, the finish and style is very nice.
