SUV Style, appeal and value

Keep in mind value, its not a BMW, Audi or even a Rav 4 but this Hyundai Tucson offers value for money motoring that the other manufacturers should take note for their SUV lower end market vehicles.

Lets go back to the early 1990s in Australia,  I recall saying to  a motoring colleague " these Hyundai's are the Korean Lada's, give them 3 years in Australia and all we will be left with is rusting relics."

Well I was wrong, Yes wrong those early Hyundai sprints are still going well today with a engine you could not kill with a stick. The harsh Australian climate has been cruel to the poor excuse of paint on the earlier vehicles but they have stood the test.

Moving into the present Hyundai has in Australia developed trust with the consumer, This trust  is much sought after by many that have followed and even now the likes of KIA are just a poor second.

Hyundai like it or not is in the new vehicle market, not just cheap runabouts.

The new IX35 (Tucson ) in Australia is a big move on the previous model of several years. The 2.4 litre engine is good as a engine this size with this weight would be, the suspension and handling are good as you would consider for this price range,  the finish and style is very nice. Check out the video (right)

Some USA journalists are saying this is as good as RAV 4 in many ways but time will tell
