Honda CR-V 2007/2008

What out sold Toyota Land cruiser and Nissan Patrol in 2000 and was Hondas biggest seller for four years from 1999?   The CRV !. Its seems like it has been  in Australia as a 4x4 vehicle  forever, but it was launched in 1997.

As a vehicle size was just nice for Mum and the badge had some city appeal ,  add the 4x4 idea and the remarkable reliability  from the maker and you have a  marketable and popular vehicle.

I still have trouble coming to grips with this as a 4x4 and here today talking about the latest model just in sheer respect for its popularity .

 These days the CR-V is manufactured out of Thailand just like so much. The 2007 & 2008 Honda 4x4  boasts many changes significantly the passenger space is 70 mm larger than the previous. Track on this vehicle is 30mm wider in the front and 20mm wider in the rear. Safety  and the CRV seem to do well see video

CR-V not for the Beach

The four wheel drive system  is more for the weekend dirt road driver and I have heard it stated that this 4x4 system is more a computerized all wheel drive system and should be viewed as such. God go with you if you want it on the beach. The 2007 CR-V now has vehicle stability assist for the first time.

Power  just a smidge better than the old one and that being 7 kw. The Automatic transmission  seems to go on forever and seems as a drive vehicle far different than previous model, I strongly urge a test drive first I think you will find it a positive choice to make.

Vehicle weight is 1620 kg It would be a terrific 4x4 trivia question if I said what is heavier the Subaru Forester, the Rav 4, the Honda CRV or the Nissan  X trail?

This Honda four wheel drive (all wheel drive) is available in 3 styles,  the base, sports and Luxury. Expect quality and loads of features including heated leather seats in the luxury.

Overall Mum would love it if she is under 6 foot, leg room still a bit tight but better. And by the way the picnic table that all previous model had has now gone. Power well I like a bit more you make up your own mind.
