Ford Territory Turbo 2011

Stunning 4x4 Power and performance. For power lovers or those towing here is a vehicle with just a great amount of space and features.

The Engine is a 4.0 litre DOHC DIVIT 6 cylinder that when called upon delivers 245 kw and 480 Nm of torque. Add the German ZF 6 speed Automatic trans and you have a great unit.

Dimensions from bumper to bumper on the Ford Territory Turbo is 4856mm wheel base is 2842 height 1714 and width with mirrors extended is 2247. If you have child restraints the middle seat (when 3rd row is optioned) is 1528mm.

All the features you would expect are there plus more. This includes on the Ghia reverse camera and sensing, 18" x 7.5 5 spoke alloys, ABS, Hill decent, Dynamic stability control, traction, full power windows etc, Electronic brake force distribution, 5 child seat anchor points, and plenty more.

Towing for the territory turbo is with a standard tow pack 1600kg with a heavy duty 2300 kg download tow ball is 160 kg Rear gross axle load rating when towing is 1530.

Fuel consumption based on ADR81 is 14.2 L/100km fuel tank size is a pretty standard 75 ltr.

This vehicle is of course AWD (all wheel drive) that has the goodies. Ideal for the towing of that medium van and on the other end of the scale with the optional third row seat is a terrific family wagon.

Great range of colours 11 in all, nice leather in the Ghia and a what appears as hard wearing fabric in the Turbo.

This Ford Territory is a delight, yes a little heavy on fuel and it feels large to drive but that's being picky on what is a nice package all round. Unlike the ford escape the Territory has roadside assistance , check with your Ford dealer regarding servicing costs.

Ford Territory is nice....for normal everyday application not sure how it would go across the Simpson desert I would not be the first to try.
