Ford Escape 2008 ZD

Ford Escape 2008 ZD The Ford Escape has been a reasonable seller and I can speak from first hand experience of over 65000 kms that this vehicle is well worth a consideration when looking at this smaller 4x4 market.

Ford now have sharpened their pencils with this new 2008 ZD escape.

In the previous model cruise control wasn't standard now it is, That with some great trim change's and outside look make this a great package that now has come into the 21st century.

My view based on the old model was one of respect, for 65000 km it was a work vehicle with plenty of city travel, a family vehicle for two adults and two littlies and thirdly a interstate travel vehicle loaded up with the family. It passed all tests Good space , good performance and suitable features and comfort.

Fuel consumption was average and it really needed just a smidge more go in the engine but you cant have your cake and eat it too. As I mentioned in a previous article on the 2006 XLS Escape my disappointment came with the warranty and a bad battery. Forget roadside assist because you don't get it on Ford imported product.

And finally shop around for a good deal this vehicle is priced right now under the $30,000 AUD If only the Hybrid version was available for just a small amount more .
